High-energy with horn-centric rock. Meet GI Blythe

High-energy with horn-centric rock. It's GI Blythe!
They are a group of seasoned musicians hailing from both the U.K. and the U.S. Coming from a variety of musical backgrounds, they fuse together high-energy with horn-centric rock.
Their founder and leader, Geoff Blythe, was also a founding member of EMI recording artists Dexy’s Midnight Runners and was responsible for the band’s signature horn arrangements on Dexy’s hit debut album, Searching for the Young Soul Rebels.

Several of them have worked together in various music settings over the years—including on Dexy’s—and, along with Geoff, have collectively played and/or recorded with a number of diverse artists from:

Elvis Costello
Paul Simon
Nick Lowe
Miles Davis, and
Wayne Shorter and The Funk Brothers (of Motown fame)
...and that's the short list!

What makes them so special?

GI Blythe has a fluid, driving rhythm section, inventively humorous Rock & Soul horns, and Archie Brown's singular vocals create a sound that’s difficult to compare to anyone else. Simply put, it’s a rockin’ good time!
